The Indian Journal of Health Professions Education (IJHPE) publishes high-quality scholarly work that advances teaching, learning, assessment, innovation, and leadership across all health professions. Authors are expected to follow the manuscript formatting, structure, referencing, and ethical standards outlined below.

File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
Line spacing: Double
Margins: 1-inch on all sides
Page numbers: Bottom right
Language: Clear and concise English
Manuscript Structure
Title Page: Full article title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author contact, ORCID (optional).
Abstract: Maximum 250 words, structured as Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion, plus 3–6 keywords.
Main Text (for Original Research): Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendations (optional).
Tables/Figures: Placed after references; numbered and titled.
Referencing Style: Vancouver format.
Ethical Requirements
Ethical approval and approval number are mandatory for studies involving human participants.
Informed consent must be documented when applicable.
Manuscripts must comply with COPE guidelines.
Similarity must be below 15% (excluding references).
Conflict of Interest Authors must provide a conflict-of-interest statement. If none: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
Funding Statement State all funding sources. If none: “No external funding was received for this study.”
Authorship Criteria All authors must meet ICMJE authorship requirements; gift authorship is prohibited.
